Passion for Helping Others

For years, I've had a passion for helping others. I also enjoy things that are aesthetically pleasing, and after 10 years of being in the medical field, I was officially "burned out". I decided to uproot my world and follow my passion for Interior Design.

My take on the world

I love traveling, so when I come home, I want to feel like I'm on vacation. I used to live in Ventura, CA and the beach was a few miles away and the mountains are within a 45 minute drive. The feel there is very unique; city, suburbs and country all wrapped into one. You can be driving through city streets one minute, take a turn and there is a field of strawberries right smack dab in the middle of town. I am a bit of a "Fixer Upper" enthusiast (If you haven't seen that show on HGTV, I highly recommend it), and my personal style is a bit beachy since it is my favorite place to be. I also love the industrial and modern/contemporary looks. I have recently moved to the country and am slowly transitioning our home to that of a modern farmhouse type of vibe, but my bathroom is still beach themed! :)

Modern Design:

I love making old things feel new. I have refurbished older furniture to give it a modern feel, and I really enjoy staging homes to make an older space feel modern and updated. This is why I decided to create Room Revolution.
